1. Reactions, Cell Shape, and Motion of Amoebic Cells

A model of amoebic cell is constructed, which describes chemical reactions, cell shape and locomotion in a unified way. With this model, we can analyze how locomotion affects reactions and cell shapes, which then influences locomotion. Many observed features of amoebic locomotion are explained by such loops of causality among motions and reactions.
